Site Speed inclusion in search results

Recently
Google included in their ranking algorithms search site speed as an important aspect for a good search engine rankings. The loading speed of a site joins the 200 factors that Google takes into account in searches made by users, in addition to relevant, quality content etc.

Google is taking into account this factor to have in the future a faster network browsing, the user in mind who is in the end who is the biggest beneficiary. If a site is slow to respond, users spend less time on it, but it is rapidly improving the user experience and is very likely that someday returns.

To measure the speed of a site there are several free tools that can help a webmaster to improve some aspects of the Web to make the site faster. The tools you can use for this purpose are:

- Page Speed free pluggin is a Firefox / Firebug with which Web site developers can improve the loading speed of your pages and to help improve performance .

- YSlow is a Yahoo site that provides tips on how to improve site speed. It is in English.

- WebPageTest This tool is what I use and it improved significantly the burden of my blogs, although I have noticed differences between the result and throws WebPageTest Lab Webmaster.

- Labs This is the Google Webmaster tool that displays an image with variations in speed to as experienced users around the world. As

says the official Google site, speed is a point, but not as important as the relevance of a page. Currently only 1% of the results of the searches is affected and this only happens with searches in English.
